Apple Crisp

4 cups tart apples
2 Tbs. lemon juice
1/2 cup flour (white/wheat)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon


Peel core and slice apples into a 9-inch  pie pan. Season with lemon juice. In a separate bowl, combine with a pastry blender: flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Work lightly so that mixture doesn't become oily. Spread mixture over apples. Bake for about 30 minutes.
